Inspiration Board: Yellow and Brown

I dunno why I'm leaning to shades of brown lately, but I always thought of it as a good neutral-colored complement to a bright or rich color. And I also realized that it's been a while since I used yellow for my inspiration boards, and this is why this board came to be. Seems like a nice color combo for rustic or summery weddings.

Inspiration board - Purple and Yellow

For this inspiration board, I chose to play with purple and yellow. I noticed that I've only made a handful boards that had purple in it. And yellow seems to offer a nice contrast to it. The combination looks great for any kind of wedding, probably something on the classic side but with a little twist to it. Check it out and hope it gets you inspired:

Inspiration board - Yellow and Gray

I guess I got affected by the weather, (no) thanks to Typhoon Conson, which hit the Philippines' northern provinces and affecting Metro Manila as well.

Because the sky was dreary since yesterday, I chose gray as a color to toy around for this inspiration board. For the accent, I chose yellow primarily because I want to see something cheery amid the gloomy weather. Yeah, this board was inspired by my feelings of sadness because of the weather and the search for a glimmer of hope for sunshine.

Apparently, after making this, I found this to be one of my favorites. The color combination was great. Check it out:

Inspiration board - Yellow

I guess part of the inspiration for this board came from the weather. It's just so hot, hot, hot! Every single day is bright and sunny, and thus this board came to be. I chose yellow as it is one of the best colors that would remind you of summer. I'd also recommend this color if you want something bright and cheery for your wedding. Hope this gets you inspired.

Inspiration board - Autumn/Fall

Time for another inspiration board! And because the warm weather is making way for the cold air, I thought of making a board with an autumn or fall theme. I chose a color scheme of browns, oranges, reds and yellows, with a tinge of green, to signify this season of transition. Hope you like this one.

Inspiration board - Summer

Maybe the heat is getting into me... so I thought why not do a summer theme for my next inspiration board?

I like summer. It's a warm season, not much rain, everything's in bloom, and a great time to cool down by the beach. I like the weather, the burst of colors -- they make me so cheery inside.

Anyway, for this inspiration board, I used the bright colors I associate the season with: yellow, green, and pink, with some lavenders and blues. And because it's a hot season, I picked dresses that have light fabrics and without the heavy design. Throw in some unique wedding details, and voila! Hope you enjoy this one.
