Wedding gowns: One-shoulder / Asymmetrical Neckline

I rarely see gowns that have this kind of neckline in the weddings I have attended. But I think this one has a sexy look to it. One-shoulder or asymmetrical neckline wedding gowns, for me, exude some kind of ethereal appeal, like a Greek goddess. Women with a slim upper body and nicely sculpted shoulders can seem to pull this off. And with the right mix of fabric, it's just like you're seeing the goddess Aphrodite walking down the aisle.

Here are some one-shoulder/asymmetrical wedding dresses I've found over the Net, for your inspiration:
1st row, from left: From the Fall 2009 collection from MoniqueLhuillier.com; Vera Wang Luxe Callalily wedding gown from VeraWangOnWeddings.com; Ivory Encrusted One Shoulder Bridal Dress from Debenhams.com.

2nd row, from left: La Sposa Fatima wedding gown from SpLaSposa.com; Vineyard Style Rita wedding gown from PriscillaOfBoston.com; Sarah Danielle Style 5558 from Sarah-Danielle-Bridalwear.com.

  1. among the six dresses, the one from debenhams is my favorite! just a little pricey for £350! hopefully, my couturier would be able to create something like that.. i want it to be simple, light and flowy, not really body-hugging but still sexy..

actually, already have a dream wedding gown here: http://utotmopink.blogspot.com/2009/02/dream-bridal-gown.html

    i just changed my mind..^^
